1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our waitlist on the website or using the Semestr+ application ("the App"), operated by Mikoline Innovations ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Semestr+ is an educational mobile application designed to help university students prepare for examinations through practice questions, timed exam simulations, and AI-Tutors. The service is currently in a pre-launch phase and access is limited to waitlist registrants and early-access users.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by individuals who are enrolled in or preparing for tertiary education. By using the App, you agree that you meet this eligibility requirement. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who do not meet these requirements.

4. Waitlist Registration

When you register for our waitlist, you provide your email address so we can notify you when the App becomes available. By submitting your email, you consent to receive product updates and launch announcements from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in any of our emails or contacting us directly through our support channels. We reserve the right to manage waitlist invitations at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App and our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from the App or our APIs.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or sell any content, question databases, or materials provided by the App without written permission.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our infrastructure or user data.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App including but not limited to practice questions, explanations, UI designs, and branding is the intellectual property of Semester Plus / Mikoline Innovations or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all related content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific educational requirements.

Educational content in the App is intended to supplement not replace formal academic instruction, official course materials, or professional academic advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Semester+ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or our website including any loss of data, academic results, or opportunities.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App or our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
